Students can turn a class they are presently taking into an “Honors Class.”
The 合同荣誉 Program allows eligible 学生 to work individually with 教师 members on higher-level educational activities related to course objectives while enrolled in a regular course. Students who complete an 合同荣誉 course have the designation on their transcript. After completing four 合同荣誉 课程 with an overall GPA of 3.5岁或以上, 学生 graduate from 胜博发郡学院 as Honors Students. The student’s transcript, diploma, and commencement program will note this achievement.
All 学生 with a GPA of 2.5岁或以上, 或同等, 从高中开始, other higher educational institutions, or 胜博发郡学院 are eligible to enroll in the 合同荣誉 课程. 教师 members who teach college-level 课程, i.e., 100 level and above, may participate in the Program, STSC 课程 are not eligible. Students may only enroll in two 合同荣誉 课程 per semester.
Students who participate in 合同荣誉 have an opportunity to win monetary awards for their outstanding work. In addition, 学生 who meet Honors 毕业 requirements are eligible for scholarships.
Once the project and course are successfully completed, that course will be designated as an “Honors” course on the student’s official transcript.
